Whole Home Energy Solutions
Schedule a visit with one of our participating contractors to perform a comprehensive Whole Home Energy Solutions Audit.* This report will detail the potential energy savings you can enjoy with the recommended upgrades.
Once you have selected a participating contractor and scheduled a home energy audit, the contractor will:
- Perform a comprehensive home energy audit
- Recommend improvements and available rebates to make your home more energy efficient, comfortable, healthy, and safe
- Provide you with a detailed report on the potential energy savings of the recommended improvements
- Assess your water heating, heating, and cooling systems; inspect insulation levels and air sealing; plus look for more energy-saving opportunities around the home
Decide which solutions best fit your budget and enjoy rebates up to $7,500 on upgraded energy efficiency equipment.
*A Whole Home Energy Solutions Audit differs from a Whole Home Energy Assessment. It provides a more in-depth investigation of energy efficient opportunities.
Rebates
- Enjoy up to $7,500 in rebates
- Rebate is $2,000 + $200 for each percentage point of energy savings above 5%
- All rebates not to exceed 50% of costs
Financing options
South Jersey Gas (SJG) offers On-Bill Repayment specifically for SJG’s residential customers who get energy efficiency improvements:
- 0% APR On-Bill Repayment for qualifying home energy efficiency upgrades
- The SJG On-Bill Repayment Program provides 0% APR financing from $2,500 to $25,000, making it easier for you to increase your comfort by installing eligible energy-efficient equipment in your home
- 0% APR On-Bill Repayment is available for up to 7 years, or up to 10 years for income-qualified customers, when you upgrade to high-efficiency equipment
Fixed-rate terms vary based on value of financing
- 7-year term for financing up to $10,000
- 10-year term for financing from $10,001 to $25,000
Eligibility
You may qualify for a Home Energy Solutions if you:
- Have an active SJG residential account. Note: Renters must complete the landlord permission form.
- Live in a single-family home, townhome/condo, or multifamily building with less than four units.
- Heat your home with natural gas.
